Bikini Line Hair Removal

If you haven’t considered bikini hair removal, then you’re not ready for that swimsuit yet. The countdown has begun, and you’ve done everything physically possible to be ready for that first day on the beach or at the pool. You’ve trimmed down and toned up, you’ve gone to the tanning salon and bought the most outrageous, tiny sexy bikini you could find. Oops!! Did you forget something? You are definitely not as ready as you thought you were, if you haven’t taken care of your bikini line.

Do-it-Yourself Options

So, what are you gonna do for fast an inexpensive body hair removal? Grab the old reliable razor blade and shaving cream, or that old bottle of Nair at the back of the medicine cabinet. Sure, that could work; shaving and depilatories are actually very good last minute choices. But there are some other very efficient options.

Waxing is a choice many women choose, because you remain hair free over a longer period of time, sometimes for up to 6 weeks. Waxing is a good choice if you’re kind of on the “shy” side, and prefer not to bare your private parts to just anyone. There are several different Do-It-Yourself kits available, including the traditional ones where you melt the wax and slather it on, cover it with a cloth and then yank it off. There’s also waxing strips, which is much less messy, though not always as efficient.

Professional Options

If you do go to a salon for professional waxing help, they may ask if you’d like to try a Brazilian. A Brazilian wax is a procedure that removes hair from the entire pubic region, except for a small patch of hair… kind of like a female soul patch. Most women prefer a Brazilian because it gives her the freedom to wear even the most revealing swimwear and lingerie. Is waxing painful? Is the sky blue? Of course, it’s painful; it involves ripping the hair out of your most prized possession. But, afterward, your aesthetician will smear on a soothing lotion.

Finally, you’ve decided you like the look, but want it long term, so that you never have to worry about it again. You’ll need help, because an electrolysis or laser hair removal treatment should only be performed by a professional. Visit a salon, and let the professional go to work. Don’t be embarrassed, they are professionals and have seen it all before. Despite some minor discomfort from the procedure (take some pain reliever before hand, and keep well hydrated), at the end, you’ll have a beautiful new look.
