Which Permanent Hair Removal Method Is Really Permanent?
Whether you have a little peach fuzz above your lip, or have unwanted body hair anywhere else on your body, it’s likely something that’s bothered you for years, and you’ve no doubt considered that the only solution is some form or method of permanent hair removal.
There are three things that you should bear in mind about permanent hair removal.
First, there is no single method that is 100% effective for every single person.
Second, “permanent” doesn’t necessarily mean “immediate;” you may still have to have several sessions before a treatment is considered permanent.
Third, “permanent” doesn’t always mean forever… there are “degrees” of permanence.
The real question is which method of permanent hair removal is right for you?
With all the hype, and the gizmos, gadgets, magic potions and lotions, how are you ever supposed to know which unwanted hair removal options are for real and which are just so much “smoke and mirrors.”
What you ultimately decide will also depend on you. How much hair are we talking about? Maybe you just want to be permanently rid of those bushy brows, and want a permanent demure arch. Or perhaps you’re tired of buying bandages in bulk, to staunch the inevitable nicks and cuts you get from shaving your legs. Depending on what your need is you may want to choose one form of permanent hair removal over another.
Today, there is still only one solution for permanent hair removal.
That is electrolysis hair removal. While you may have thought that laser removal was permanent, the FDA says that they cannot make that claim; what providers of laser hair removal can say is that laser provides a permanent “reduction,” which means that although the laser will permanently reduce the total number of body hairs, they don’t result in the permanent removal of all hair.
A word about those “new and improved” products and gadgets sold on the 24-hour home shopping shows by what are nothing more than new-fangled snake-oil salesmen. They are nothing more than that, “gadgets” and you will be wasting your time and money investing in them. For permanent hair removal, there really is only one viable choice, and that’s electrolysis.
